Tea Leaves|茶葉
Every leaf carries land, season, and care.
At Chafinity, our teas are sourced with attention to origin, cultivation, and the people behind each harvest. We begin with Japanese tea, not only for its flavor, but for the way it reflects patience, restraint, and harmony with nature.
Each tea is chosen to offer a different expression of the leaf — shaded, roasted, steamed, powdered, or slowly infused. Some are prepared as matcha. Others are brewed gently across multiple infusions. Together, they invite a fuller relationship with tea.
Gyokuro|玉露
Gyokuro is one of Japan’s most refined shaded green teas. Before harvest, the tea plants are protected from direct sunlight, encouraging sweetness, umami, and depth.
After steaming, gyokuro leaves are carefully rolled into long, slender, pine-needle shapes.

When brewed slowly at a lower temperature, the leaves unfurl over multiple infusions, revealing layers of sweetness, minerality, and savory richness.
Sencha|煎茶
Sencha is the everyday heart of Japanese green tea. Unlike gyokuro, which is shaded, sencha is typically grown in full sunlight, giving it a fresh, lively character.
Our sencha is a deep-steamed fukamushi style from Kagoshima, grown by Kawaji-san of Kasugaen. It offers brightness, gentle sweetness, and clean vegetal notes.

Sencha brings clarity.
It is refreshing, direct, and quietly familiar.
Hojicha|焙じ茶
Hojicha is roasted Japanese green tea. Through roasting, the leaf transforms — becoming warm, aromatic, and mellow, with notes of toasted grain, roasted nuts, and soft sweetness.
Our hojicha is sourced from Miyazaki Sabo in Miyazaki, Japan. It offers a floral, smooth finish without excessive smokiness or heaviness. Because roasting naturally softens the caffeine experience, hojicha is often enjoyed throughout the day and into the evening.

Warm, gentle, and comforting.
Japanese Oolong|烏龍茶
Japanese oolong offers a different expression of the tea leaf. Unlike the darker roasted oolongs often associated with China or Taiwan, Japanese oolong is usually lighter in oxidation, allowing freshness and floral character to remain present.
Our Japanese oolong is grown by Miyazaki Sabo in Miyazaki, Japan, using natural and organic farming practices. The infusion is clear, aromatic, lightly floral, and softly sweet.
