This 80-prong chasen is a Chafinity-exclusive edition, handcrafted by Master Artisan Tatehiro Kubo of the Kubo Komakichi lineage, a family preserving a 500-year-old craft in Nara, Japan. Known as one of only 18 remaining chasen masters in the world, Kubo has created this whisk specially for Chafinity, distinguished by its green and gold thread colorway, symbolic of harmony and tradition.

Each prong is carved by hand from local white bamboo, without the use of chemicals or machines. The result is a balanced, refined whisk, perfect for daily matcha preparation and soft, silky froth. To hold this whisk is to hold a piece of living Japanese heritage, shaped by hands, spirit, and intention.
